I was born in Long Island, New York, and being a child of a Navy man, I moved several times.  We lived in Gulfport, Mississippi; Pensacola, Florida; and Sweet Water, Alabama.  I graduated from Sweet Water High School in 1983. I graduated from Livingston University. I am very proud to say that I have the distinction of being a third generation graduate of Sweet Water High School and a third generation graduate and education major of Livingston University.  My grandmother graduated when it was named Livingston Normal School; my mother graduated when it was named Livingston State Teacher's College; and I graduated under the name Livingston University.  I married to Bobby Smith from Madison County, Illinois in 2004. I lost him to a pulmonary embolism on October 23rd, 2013.  I am now the crazy cat woman in Sweet Water with many fur babies running around my house and yard. I also have two dogs Tiara a Norweigen elkhound and Shadow a chihuahua. In 2016 I reunited with my high school sweetheart. It hasn't been easy but we are still married with no end in sight. I now have only three cats and three dogs. I added my sweet Debo to my pack of dogs. He's sweet and playful and very protective over me.
